Pentecost will be observed on Sunday, May 24, 2015. There will be two services with starting times as follows: 10:00 AM Pacific Time and 2:30 PM Pacific Time.
The May Member Letter has been written and will be mailed this week. In it, Dave Harris draws attention to the Feast of Pentecost and the responsibility Christians have since receiving God’s Holy Spirit.
A new German member letter was sent out this week via email, addressing the world situation in light of biblical prophecy and our responsibility as Christians. It also includes announcements for the upcoming weekly Sabbath and Pentecost services in Germany.
“WHY the Surprise Victory for David Cameron?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:
The polls indicated a completely different result, but David Cameron’s “smashing and unexpected outright victory in Britain’s general election” was no accident. Even though analysts try now to determine and “rationalize” the reasons for their wrong predictions, the most important factor for the decisive outcome has been overlooked. Could biblical prophecies have preordained it, and if so, what will be the consequences for the UK, the EU under German leadership, and the rest of the world?
“Trost und Ermutigung,” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English: “Comfort and Encouragement.”
“Simplify,” the sermonette presented by Eric Rank last Sabbath is now posted. Here is a summary:
Choosing to simplify our lives can be a difficult thing. The world offers a pursuit of more, but a Christian life is one that aims to remove distractions and focus on one very important thing – committing our life to the glorification of God.
“Why Are There Races and Nations?” the sermon presented by Dave Harris last Sabbath is now posted.
Here is a summary:
Nations rise and fall—is that merely the result of blind fate? Or is there a great purpose being worked out by God for ALL of His creation? Is God actually guiding the eventual outcome of man’s activities among the many races and nations?
