These violent antisemitic attacks were apparently planned well in advance and they were carried out by a mob of local Muslims and Arabs. How could something like this happen? Who is to be blamed? Now, Telegram’s CEO Pavel Durov has been arrested and has been charged in France with criminal conduct “for a lack of moderation and a lack of cooperation with police.” Others who are being targeted include X’s CEO Elon Musk and Rumble’s CEO Chris Pavlovski. Is Europe becoming an autocratic and totalitarian dictatorship?
Europe’s attempt to silence Elon Musk is only one example of a frightening and alarming policy to censor free speech, including for Americans, with the support and encouragement of the US government. These attempts by an autocratic foreign government have been viewed as “attacks on America’s very existence and its very freedoms.”
The opening ceremony was riddled with inappropriate and highly offensive presentations and performances. The closing ceremony was not any better. Many have focused on the insulting drag queen parody of the Last Supper; while others pointed out the total lack of true values.
