Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

The Church Conference for 2017 will be conducted in Escondido, California, with arrivals on March 23 and ending on March 28. Our first session will be on Friday, with subsequent meetings on Sunday and Monday.  We will also have Sabbath services in Ramona, California, during this time.

The Member Letter (March 2017), written by Kalon Mitchell, has been mailed to our subscribers, and it is now posted.

“Catholics and Protestants… Divided or United?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

About 500 years after the Reformation, the Catholic Church and the Protestant denominations or Evangelicals are still divided. But how divided are they really? In this program, we discuss eight major divisions, while showing that Catholics and Protestants are mostly unified in doctrine and practice, which are opposed to and in violation of the Word of God, the Bible.

“Ermordete Propheten in Jerusalem,” is the title of this coming Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English: “Murdered Prophets in Jerusalem.”

The completed text of the new German booklet, “HIMMEL UND ERDE… vor und nach dem ersten Menschen!”— a translation of the English booklet, “Heavens and Earth… Before and After the First Man!”—is being finalized for printing.

“Separation,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

God instructs us to separate ourselves from exposure to a wide variety of things that can cause harm. Separation can serve as a life-saving tool in the life of a Christian when used properly.”

“Why Are There Christians?” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Is there a purpose for Christianity in a world so utterly at odds with its teachings? Are Christians failing in the goals which are set before them? Why is it so difficult to clearly understand what it means to be a true Christian? Is it even worth the struggle?
