We begin with reports on [predicted] renewed violence in unstable Syria; [unrealistic] proposals as to how to deal with Gaza; and continue with concentrating on Trump’s “whiplash” leadership which creates confusion and uncertainty, which might even be intentional, but which is also diminishing trust in the reliability of the USA.
We report on Canada’s new prime minister Mark Carney who is clearly no friend of Donald Trump and who has picked up the gauntlet; and report on the ongoing fight between the Trump administration and Zelensky, with Trump’s inconsistent and contradictory proposals and statements. We speak on the proposed “ceasefire” regarding Ukraine; and we point out additional animosity between the USA and Poland; Europe’s desire to become a nuclear power; and we discuss the possibility of America’s withdrawal from NATO, as we know it, with the proposal of Germany, as a rising military power, “taking on the leading role in the alliance.”
