A new booklet is being written, discussing man’s holidays and God’s Holy Days. This new booklet will be the first in a new series of booklets, addressing the overall theme as whether or not beliefs and popular concepts can be found in the Bible.
The draft of our new booklet on the Old Testament sacrifices and the tabernacle in the wilderness has entered the first review cycle.

The first new StandingWatch program is titled, “Halloween–The Devil’s Curse,” and was posted on the Web on Tuesday night. In the program, Norbert Link is asking the following provocative questions: Do you keep Halloween? Is it harmless fun to do so? Are you unpatriotic if you don’t? Can you claim to be a Christian, while celebrating a festival dedicated to Satan the devil? Do you care to know the truth about Halloween–and how God looks at it? The second new StandingWatch program is titled, “The Origins of America and Britain, Part 3.” It was posted on the Web on Wednesday night. A brief summary of the program is set forth, as follows:
Where is the throne of David today? The angel Gabriel promised Mary that God would give Jesus the throne of His father David. Is that throne in heaven, as some claim, or is it somewhere on this earth? We are also told that King David would never lack a descendant to sit on the throne of David. But David’s descendants ceased to rule over the house of Judah, when the Babylonians captured King Zedekiah–a descendant of David–and killed his sons. Did God fail to fulfill His promise to David? A new StandingWatch program has been posted on our Website and on Google Video. It is titled, “The Origins of America and Britain, Part 2.” In this installment, Norbert Link shows that the origins of America and Britain are clearly identified in the Bible, but most do not know where to find those references. Part of the reason is that they are confused about the ancient house of Israel and the ancient house of Judah, erroneously thinking that Biblical passages addressing the house of Israel apply to the Jews, and vice versa. However, the descendants of the house of Israel are not Jewish–and never have been. End-time prophecies about the modern house of Israel are directed to entirely different peoples and nations than the Jews or the state of Israel in the Middle East.

A new StandingWatch program (#138) has been posted on Google Video and on our Website. The program is titled: “Bible Study: The Mystery of Revelation–Solved!” A summary of the program is set forth below:

Our Festival Brochure for the Feast of Tabernacles 2007 in Oregon has been completed and will be distributed to Feast attendees upon their arrival at the Feast site. It has also been posted on the Web.
A new StandingWatch program (#137) has been posted on Google Video and on our Website. It is titled, “Are Ghosts for Real?” In the program, Norbert Link addresses the question whether apparitions and ghost sightings are proof for the existence of ghosts of departed ones, or whether other explanations are possible.
Our Internet ad campaign for our booklet, “Mysteries of the Bible,” which we are running in Canada, has produced so far 28 requests from Nigeria, 1 request from Malaysia, 5 requests from Ghana, and 59 requests from Canada.

It is titled, “The Most Powerful Woman.” In the program, Norbert Link points out that Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel, tops Forbes’ magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most powerful women, while First Lady Laura Bush only reaches place 60. At the same time, we learn that Mrs. Merkel is trying to isolate the United States of America on the issue of carbon dioxide emissions, while Great Britain is perceived by European leaders as an “embarrassment.” What does all of this mean? We have ended our Internet ad campaign in the USA for our booklet, “The Mysteries of the Bible,” which produced about 170 requests in the USA, and we have started on Thursday a new Internet advertisement campaign in the USA for our booklet, “Human Suffering…Why and How Much Longer?” The ad features the booklet and includes an order form and a brief video presentation introducing the booklet. We will soon begin the same campaign in Canada and the UK; presently, we are still running successful Internet ads for “The Mysteries of the Bible” in Canada and “America and Britain in Prophecy” in the UK.
A new StandingWatch program (#135) has been posted on Google Video. It is titled, “Are You Ignorant of World Conditions?” In the program, Norbert Link discusses the fact that two-thirds of US adults admit to being in the dark about political issues outside the US. Only 3% of women and 14% of men say that they are extremely knowledgeable on world politics. Why is this a frightening and shocking testimony? Or, does it make any difference whether or not one knows what is going on in the world? View this now on Google Video.

It is titled, “America–Wake Up!” In the program, Norbert Link discusses the fact that most cannot imagine that America could be defeated by a foreign enemy. But God says otherwise. And we had better listen to God’s warnings and make amends.
In the USA, we sent a special letter to, by now, 155 people who requested our booklet, “The Mysteries of the Bible,” which is being advertised on the Internet.
As of Thursday morning, we have received, in the USA, 156 requests for our booklet, “Mysteries of the Bible,” as advertised on the Internet. In addition, Canada received 39 requests (25 from Canada, 13 from Nigeria and 1 from Malaysia). A special letter has been sent by now to about 135 people in the USA, requesting the booklet, explaining briefly some of the projects of the Church.
