Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

A new Member Letter (January 2017) has been written by Eric Rank, and it is now posted and has been mailed to our subscribers. In this letter Mr. Rank addresses the calling God has given to us—pointing out that we each have an individual responsibility to remain zealous in the Work of God.

Our newest booklet, “The Fall and Rise of the Jewish People,” has entered its final review process. We anticipate printing and distribution of this publication in the next few weeks.

Why the Hatred for Israel and God’s Law?,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Included in this presentation is a special video clip presented by Michael Link highlighting our newest booklet, “God’s Law or God’s Grace?” Here is a summary of the StandingWatch program:

On January 4, 2017, The Washington Post wrote about reasons for the world’s hatred of the state of Israel and the Jews; and one of these reasons explains why especially “traditional” Christianity teaches that Christ came to do away with the Law of God and to replace it with “grace.” If YOU believe in this deceptive concept, it may lead to YOUR physical death in the near future, and ultimately, to your eternal death. Our free booklet, “God’s Law… or God’s Grace?” shows you the TRUTH from the BIBLE which you MUST know in order to survive the terrible times ahead of us.

“Warum die Kirche des Ewigen Gottes? (Teil 2),” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon. Title in English: “Why the Church of the Eternal God?” (Part 2)

“Are We Ready?,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Thilo Hanstein, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Did you know that Christ will come back soon? Do you know what to do before Christ comes back? Do you believe that you are ready for the return of Christ? Listen to what Christ tells us.

“Not Because of Our Own Strength,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Many try desperately to solve their problems, based on their own strength. This will never work. It is God who must fight for us and strengthen us. But how does that happen, and what mistakes can we still make, even if we recognize our own weakness and our dependency from God?

The Church Conference for 2017 will be conducted in Escondido, California, with arrivals on March 23 and ending on March 28.

“2017–A Dangerous Year,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

2016 ended as it began–with uncertainty, fear, violence and tremendous upheaval. It appears that 2017 will be worse. Are the dark days of the 1930’s upon us, as Prince Charles warns? Are “things falling apart” and is “mere anarchy loosed upon the world,” indicating the Second Coming of Christ, as the Catholic Church in England suspects? Has the world “turned upside down,” as Angela Merkel stated? A grim picture emerges, when we contemplate worldwide terrorism, global Islamist extremism and ISIS, Donald Trump’s USA, the UK’s Brexit, coming elections in France, The Netherlands and Germany, as well as events in Syria, Iraq, Israel, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Afghanistan, Putin’s Russia, China, North Korea, Japan and the Philippines. Are we really that close to the Great Tribulation and the annihilation of mankind?

“Warum die Kirche des Ewigen Gottes?” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon. Title in English: “Why the Church of the Eternal God?”

“Digital Perfection?,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Robb Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

It is easy to turn away from godly objectives, especially when the world is filled with distractions.  Even at an early age, we are conditioned to look away from a godly path.  Staying true to our calling requires vigilance and a desire to endure.

“The POWER of the Bible,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Many consider the Bible as just another book of religious teachings. The idea that it is or possibly could be the inspired words of God is either rejected or only half-heartedly accepted by most people. There are others who view the Bible for what it is—the TRUTH OF GOD!

The Church Conference for 2017 will be conducted in Escondido, California, with arrivals on March 23 and ending on March 28.

“Israel Betrayed by USA and Forsaken by the World,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

“Obama Backstabs Israel.” With this headline, the Drudge Report introduced the Obama Administration’s decision to abstain from, rather than veto a resolution by the UN Security Council, condemning Israeli settlements. Israel, as well as US Democrats and Republicans, are outraged and are speaking of dire consequences. Most countries, including Germany, support the anti-Israel resolution. Why are these developments highly explosive in the light of biblical prophecy?

“Israel von Obama verraten und von der Welt verlassen,”  is the title of a new AufPostenStehen program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link, which covers the same subject as the StandingWatch program described above.

Our new German booklet, “Kennen Sie den Jesus der Bibel?” (German translation of, “Do You Know the Jesus of the Bible?”)  has been posted on the Web.

“Nicht Aufgrund Eigner Kraft,” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English: “Not because of our own Strength.”

“Don’t Look Back,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Thilo Hanstein, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The Bible shows us that man has a great potential from God. Do you know this potential and what to do with it? Would you like to start a new life?

“The True Christmas Story,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Is the usual presentation of Christ’s birth in accordance with the biblical account? When was Jesus born—in what year and in what month? What about the year Zero? When did Herod the Great die? When was Cyrenius governor of Syria? Was Christ born in a stable? What was the inn in which Mary and Joseph found no place? Were Mary and Joseph poor? Were animals present when Jesus was born? Did angels sing? Did the wise men from the east and the shepherds visit Christ during the night of His birth? Who were those wise men? How many were they? Where do the customs come from which one thinks of and engages in during the Christmas season?

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

Our new German booklet, “Kennen Sie den Jesus der Bibel?” (German translation of, “Do You Know the Jesus of the Bible?”)  has been sent to our German printer.

“Die wahre Weihnachtsgeschichte ,” is the title of this coming Sabbath’s new German sermon. Title in English: “The True Christmas Story.”

“Find Peace,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

In a world where conflict at every scale demands attention, it is a relief to find a source of enduring peace. How can we find peace in our lives to overcome our struggles?

“Your Eyes—Your Ears,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

We have knowledge that separates us from other people. So much so that we are outcasts—aliens to the societies in which we live

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

A new German booklet, titled, “Kennen Sie den Jesus der Bibel?” (German translation of, “Do You Know the Jesus of the Bible?”), has been sent to Shelly Bruno for graphics finalization.

A new publication, “Fall and Rise of the Jewish People,” has been written and entered the review process. We anticipate printing this booklet very early next year.

“Coming—USA Without Internet?”, is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Is it possible that the USA will experience a total shutdown of the Internet and the destruction of its satellites in space? Before we dismiss this idea as farfetched, we should focus on most recent national and international developments and dangers from without and within our country.

“Was sagt uns Gott über die Arbeit?, Teil 2,” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English:  “What does God tell us about Work?, Part 2.”

“Yes or No,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Life seems to come down to our ability to make choices.  There are a lot of grey areas or maybe’s in life.  But the fact is that our lives come down to being able to say yes or no.  What is that we will choose in our lives as we learn to use God’s wisdom and knowledge?

“The Fools and the Foolish,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Michael Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

There are 3 aspects the Bible talks about when it comes to the words “fool”, “foolish”, or “foolishness”. How does the Bible describe a fool and what does the Bible say about foolishness? What does it mean when the Bible talks about the foolish things of the world?

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

“Why Italy Will NOT Leave the EU!”, is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Even before Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi lost the constitutional referendum on December 4, 2016, many claimed that a euro exit (Itexit) was inevitable for Italy. Now, the voices of those uninformed “experts” have become louder, but they totally misinterpret and misrepresent the nature of the referendum, alleging that Mr. Renzi’s defeat was a victory of populists against the establishment and – even worse – a vote by the Italian people against the euro and the EU. It is high time that you learn the biblical truth of the matter.

“Warum Italien die EU NICHT verlassen wird!”, posted on AufPostenStehen, also covers the same subject as above. The German APS program also promotes our new video, which was produced by Michael Link, advertising and offering the German Europe in Prophecy booklet. In addition, we have begun an advertisement campaign with a press release and Facebook ads in German-speaking areas, offering our above-mentioned booklet on prophecy.

“Was sagt uns Gott über die Arbeit?”, is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon and is Part 1 with Part 2 to be presented the following Sabbath. Title in English: “What does God tell us about Work?”

“Were Jesus and His Parents Poor?”, the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Many assume that Jesus and His parents lived in poverty, and they point to a few Scriptures which allegedly back up their belief. But what does the Bible really say about this question? And does it matter?

“A Life of Repetition,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Do we ever feel like we do the same things over and over again? Do our lives sometimes resemble a game that constantly repeats? We see the use of repetition in nature, in life and even in the Bible. But why? Why is repetition so important for us? What can we learn by examining nature, our lives and the Bible, based on this thought of repetition? What is it that repetition will accomplish in our lives?

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

A new Member Letter (December 2016) has been written and is now posted. It was also mailed out this week. In this letter, Pastor Brian Gale writes of dramatic world news events which are fulfilling biblical prophecy and cautions Christians to remain vigilant as circumstances even within the very Church of God test our endurance.

“Pope Francis–Hell Is No Torture Chamber,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Recently, Pope Francis declared that hell–or eternal damnation–is not a torture chamber, and he went on to say that the lake of fire in Revelation 20 describes the second death. However, he then gave an unbiblical explanation of the “second death” and of “the fire.” Do YOU know the truth of the Bible?

“Papst Franziskus–Die Hölle ist keine Folterkammer,” is the German language version of the program described above.

“Wie Ihr Wollt, dass Euch die Leute Tun…” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English: “As You Want Men to Do to You…”

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

“Europe Reacts to Trump Election,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Why is the Trump election prophetic in accordance with the Bible? In light of comments made by Donald Trump regarding NATO and his relationship with Vladimir Putin, Europe feels compelled to create an EU army. Germany is about to replace Joachim Gauck as the German President with “anti-Trump” Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, partly in response to the Trump election. Leading Jewish rabbis have asked Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin to get involved with the building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem–a move which would cause Europe to intervene militarily.

“Europa Reagiert auf Trump Wahl,” presented by Evangelist Norbert Link, is the German language version of the StandingWatch program mentioned above.

“Was Satan Uns Antut!”, is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English: “What Satan Does to Us.”

“Walking in the Valley,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Christians face trials—hard ones! The record of the Bible shows that righteous people encountered difficult tests throughout their lives. When we find ourselves in trying situations, how do we react?

“Fiery Darts,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Satan specializes in finding our weaknesses and using them against us. Unless we are properly equipped to defend ourselves from his taunting attacks, we are at risk of becoming overwhelmed by sin and compromising our relationship with God. How can we expect to be spiritually attacked? Most importantly, what can we do to protect ourselves from temptations we experience and win our battles against sin?

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

Our new booklet, “God’s Law or God’s Grace?”, along with the November Member Letter have been mailed to our subscribers. These publications are available upon request. In the letter, Norbert Link discusses the future of this country and the world under a Trump administration and points out that the Bible does not condone our sinful conduct as a nation.

“Die Abtreibung im Blickfeld der Bibel,” is the title of this week’s German sermon. Title in English: “Abortion in Light of the Bible”.

“Power of One,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted. Here is a summary:

People have great strength. But what happens when we as Christians don’t have great strength? Where do we turn when we are down and discouraged? How do we get out of these types of situations? How can we move forward? We can accomplish great things if we allow God to lead us.

“God’s Control of the Weather,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

This sermon shows the difference between today’s weather conditions, which are oftentimes catastrophic, and the weather conditions in the future, when God rules on earth. Bad weather conditions can be the direct result of God’s punishment for sin, while good weather can be the direct consequence of God’s blessing for right conduct. We will also address the political situation around the world, following Mr. Trump’s election as President; his “no-win”-position; and “Europe’s perfect storm,” leading to unparalleled terrible world conditions, as a result of sin.

Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

A new member letter has been written. It has been posted and will be distributed soon. In the letter, Norbert Link addresses the presidential election and what we can expect in the future.

The World Is Afraid of President Trump,” is the title of the most recent StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link.

Here is a summary:

Donald Trump will soon be the most powerful man in the world. Most did not anticipate this, and the word is shocked and concerned. How did all of this happen, and what does the future hold? Will the relationship between Europe and the USA deteriorate? Are the Great Tribulation and nuclear World War III coming?

This program is also available in the German language AufPostenStehen presentation.

“Are You Voting for World War III?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Most Americans will vote on November 8 for “their” candidate, but many don’t do it because of conviction, but in order to prevent “greater harm”; giving their voice to a “lesser of two evils.”  But will either of the candidates make a substantial difference to the horrible condition of this country? They have accused each other of bringing about World War III, and sadly, they might very well be right. We are offering free literature which places the current catastrophic situation within the USA into proper biblical perspective.

“Ist die Lehre über die Wiedergeburt biblisch?,” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon. Title in English:  “Is the Teaching about “Born Again” Biblical?”

“Motivation,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Mike Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

How are we doing in our spiritual lives to get us motivated?  What can we do to keep us going as we run our race to perfection?

“Is the Soul Immortal?” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Most religious people, Christians and non-Christians alike, believe in the immortality of the soul. What does the Bible say about this question? Do people have souls, or are they souls? Are there dead souls? Can a soul die? Why does the Bible speak about the resurrection of the dead, if the dead are not really dead, but keep on living after death as “immortal souls”? What is death? And what is hell, in which God can destroy body and soul?
